New Report Shows How Often People Interact With Social Media Content  

A new survey compiled by The Manifest shows that nearly 30% of people interact on social media more than 10 times in a single day. This includes liking, posting or sharing content on various platforms. In addition to this percentage, almost every social media user (94%) posts content regularly, with 42% posting at least once a day.

According to the study, 69% of people post images on social media. The next most popular subjects included updates or announcements, videos and opinions, falling at 47%, 46% and 42% respectively. The study also found that Facebook is still the top social media platform, followed by YouTube and Instagram.

The information gleaned from this survey can help content marketers make strategic decisions about their social media campaigns such as deciding which platform to target most frequently. For now, it’s safe to say Facebook and the use of visuals should remain top priorities within your marketing strategy.
