Shoppers in the U.S. are browsing and buying across all environments and more active on mobile than ever.
The most striking statistics from this report include the following:
- Advertisers with shopping apps generate 67% of their transitions on mobile devices
- 44% of online transactions occur within retailers’ mobile apps
- Conversion rates are 3x higher on mobile apps versus mobile web
- 26% of desktop transactions begin first with a click on mobile device
- Omnichannel (or multichannel—think app to mobile web to desktop) users account for 27% of sales but represent only 7% of customers
