LinkedIn continues to add new tools to the platform. In the past few months, they’ve announced Reactions, live-streaming and more. In a recent blog post, LinkedIn announced the addition of photo-tagging and video messaging tools for users.
Using the photo-tagging feature, users can tag their colleagues in company photos they post, or the photos others post in the feed. LinkedIn states this tool makes the “world seem smaller and your community a little tighter when you let people know who is who.”
Millions of users add videos to share with their connections on the daily. Now, LinkedIn allows users to send video messages using the messaging tool. Users simply click or tap “videos” in the messaging tool to record and send their message.
In addition to these tools, LinkedIn now allows you to share PowerPoint presentations and document PDFs via the LinkedIn feed, in a group or on their profile. All of these changes are a part of LinkedIn’s mission to help businesses and professionals connect and collaborate in a more efficient way.
