Facebook Releases New Video Creation Kit Tools
Last year, Facebook launched the Video Creation Kit, a tool that makes video creation simple. Using the tool, advertisers can convert static images and text into video ads optimized for mobile devices. This week, Facebook released new ways to “customize, automate and improve workflow” from inside the Video Creation Kit.
First things first, Facebook now allows you to click a button and turn a single video into multiple videos with various aspect ratios to optimize for different placements. This saves advertisers time, removing the need to shoot more content or edit each video manually.
Advertisers will also find new templates in the Video Creation Kit including single-image templates that take a static image and add motion to capture attention. Other additions to the tool include more font options, seasonal stickers and templates, plus the ability to save videos as drafts for further work later.
These extra features allow advertisers to create even more customized ads, optimized for ad placement. Plus, technical know-how isn’t required.
